Barack Obama’s Twitter & Facebook Hijacked by Syrian Electronic Army

Video about US-backed rebel atrocities sent to 76 million followers, campaign emails also hacked

UPDATE: Did Google Collude With Obama Administration to Censor Video?

President Obama’s official Twitter and Facebook accounts – which have a combined audience of 76 million followers – were hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army and used to promote a link to a video which highlights how US-backed rebels are committing terror attacks in Syria.

The account was compromised less than a day after Obama’s presidential campaign website was also hacked by the SEA.

The Syrian Electronic Army confirmed to Infowars that they were behind the hack.

Perhaps to temporarily evade detection, the link to the video was tweeted out next to a non-descript message which read “Immigration is a bipartisan issue.”

On Obama’s Facebook page, the same link was sent out alongside the words, “Watch the weekly address on Obamacare.”

About an hour after the hack, SEA announced that they had also got access to the Obama Campaign’s emails, tweeting out a screenshot of the organization’s Gmail account.

When users click the link, they are redirected to the 24 minute video below which highlights a number of terror attacks and other atrocities committed by US-backed rebels.

The Syrian Electronic Army has been responsible for a number of increasingly high profile hacks this year, including one that targeted the US stock exchange.

Sarah Palin taunts Piers Morgan with picture of bear she shot dead and posted on Facebook

Sarah Palin found a novel way to turn down an  interview request from Piers Morgan on Friday, posting a picture on Facebook of  a bear she had shot dead and a note saying she was busy.

The former Alaska governor thanked chat show  host Morgan for inviting her on his ‘shambolic show’ but added she was ‘kind of  busy right now’.

The Facebook message, which had been liked by  nearly 3,000 of Palin’s supporters within two hours of it being posted, is part  of an online spat between the pair after Morgan poked fun at her  intellect.

Earlier in the week the host of Piers Morgan  Live tweeted ‘And she’s back’ and linked to a satirical article from the Daily  Currant claiming Palin believed Jesus had celebrated Easter.

According to conservative website Breitbart, Morgan was ‘gleefully tweeting out  a Currant story attacking Sarah Palin, without noting that the story was  untrue’.

Palin linked to the Breitbart article and, in  another twist of the knife, added in her Facebook message: ‘And  to all our British friends: we ask, what did your friends across the pond ever  do to you to deserve your Piers?’

Facebook makes U-turn over decapitation video clip

By Leo KelionTechnology reporter

Facebook
A Facebook page that hosted a decapitation video now says it is unavailable

Facebook has removed a video clip showing a woman’s decapitation and issued new rules about what can be shared on its site.

The U-turn comes two days after it was revealed the firm had dropped a ban on clips showing extreme violence.

The BBC understands that Facebook did this in July after issuing new guidance to staff, but did not think the public would be interested to know.

The British prime minister has accused the firm of being “irresponsible”.

Facebook’s own safety advisers have also voiced concerns.

The US firm now says it will still allow some graphic content but will take a more comprehensive look at its context.

This time Facebook outlined its revised policy in a press release.

“First, when we review content that is reported to us, we will take a more holistic look at the context surrounding a violent image or video, and will remove content that celebrates violence,” it said.

A Facebook page that hosted a decapitation video now says it is unavailable

“Second, we will consider whether the person posting the content is sharing it responsibly, such as accompanying the video or image with a warning and sharing it with an age-appropriate audience.

“Based on these enhanced standards, we have re-examined recent reports of graphic content and have concluded that this content improperly and irresponsibly glorifies violence. For this reason, we have removed it.”

At time of writing other decapitation videos could still be found on the site without warning messages.

‘Community standard’

The announcement follows a series of flip-flops by the company.

On May 1, when questioned about death clips being shared on the site, the firm told the BBC that its users had the right to depict the “world in which we live”.

However, less than two hours after the BBC published an interview with one of the firm’s safety advisers – who raised concerns about the harm this could cause teenagers – it announced a change of tack.

“We will remove instances of these videos that are reported to us while we evaluate our policy and approach to this type of content,” it declared.

The company promised at the time to announce its decision when the review was completed.

But at the start of this week the BBC was contacted by one of the social network’s members who had complained about a clip uploaded on 16 October, which the company was refusing to take down.

“The video shows a woman having her head cut off by a man in a mask,” the user wrote.

Facebook warning
The video was still accessible on Facebook on Tuesday, but covered by a warning notice

“She is alive when this happens. Looking at the comments a load of people have reported this to Facebook and had the same reply.”

An Australian police force was among those who had complained. It said it had been told by Facebook’s moderators that the video “did not violate our community standard on graphic violence”.

When questioned on Monday, a spokeswoman for Facebook confirmed that the ban had indeed been dropped and that the company had introduced a new rule: such material could be posted and shared on the site so long as the original post did not celebrate or encourage the actions depicted.

This prompted David Cameron to tweet on Tuesday: “It’s irresponsible of Facebook to post beheading videos, especially without a warning. They must explain their actions to worried parents.”

Stephen Balkam, the chief executive of the Family Online Safety Institute (Fosi) charity – who sits on the network’s Safety Advisory Board – said he was “unhappy” at the move, which he had not been told about in advance.

Many of the site’s users also questioned why it allowed such extreme footage but banned images and videos showing a woman’s “fully exposed breast”.

Facebook subsequently added an alert to the video, replacing the banner image with the words: “Warning! This video contains extremely graphic content and may be upsetting.”

But last night it changed its policy again, and visitors to the page are now told: “This content is currently unavailable.”

In response Mr Cameron tweeted: “I’m pleased Facebook has changed its approach on beheading videos. The test is now to ensure their policy is robust in protecting children.”

Mr Balkam also welcomed the move.

“The Family Online Safety Institute is encouraged by the changes that Facebook announced today to the posting of graphic or disturbing material,” he said in a statement.

“In order to protect young people in particular, it is imperative that Facebook – and all other social media sites – have in place a review process for this type of material and provide warnings where appropriate.”

London-based Childnet International, another of Facebook’s safety advisers, said it still wanted more information.

David Cameron tweet
Prime Minister David Cameron has welcomed the fact that Facebook took the video off its site

“If they’ve taken it down I welcome that,” said the charity’s chief executive Will Gardner told the BBC.

“But I want to find out more and look into this further.”

Age limits

Google’s rival Google+ social network has more restrictive guidelines on graphic content: “Do not distribute depictions of graphic or gratuitous violence,” it states.

There are videos on its YouTube service in which people discuss beheadings and provide links to explicit footage, but the firm has removed videos showing the act of murder from its own site.

“While YouTube’s guidelines generally prohibit graphic or violent content, we make exceptions for material with documentary, or news value,” a spokesman added.

“In cases where a video is not suitable for all viewers, we’re careful to apply warnings and age-restrictions to safeguard people using our site.”

David Cameron says social network must explain to parents its decision to allow images showing decapitations

Facebook

David Cameron has waded into the row over Facebook’s decision to allow a video of a beheading to appear on its site, branding it irresponsible and saying the social networking site should explain it to “worried parents”.

The prime minister tweeted that Facebook should put up a warning about the video – a move that sources close to the company say it is considering.

The row blew up after the company went back on a ban imposed in May on the posting of footage showing such killings. It said that it was only allowing the present video – which shows a masked man killing a woman in Mexico – because people were sharing the video to condemn it.

Yet Facebook’s rules, under “nudity and pornography”, would ban the display of topless photos.

Stephen Balkam, a member of the Facebook safety advisory board, urged the company to rethink the change in its policy. He told Sky News: “They have some very strict rules about nudity, about sex and even about violence, too. I just think in this case they really need to rethink how they use and how they adopt their own policies.”

Facebook has said users should be free to view such videos and then condemn the content – and that it would take a different approach if the actions in the footage were “encouraged or celebrated”.

Sources close to Facebook have indicated that the company is keeping its policies under close review as the furore over the posting of the video grew.

While it does have a “like” button, to indicate approval, Facebook doesn’t have any clear way for users to indicate dislike of content – meaning that it is hard for outsiders to know how the company could measure the basis on which people are viewing a video.

A Facebook spokeswoman said: “Facebook has long been a place where people turn to share their experiences, particularly when they’re connected to controversial events on the ground, such as human rights abuses, acts of terrorism and other violent events.”

Change to privacy settings to let teenagers share posts with anyone will leave them more vulnerable, say safety groups

Facebook is facing a backlash from campaigners after announcing it will allow millions of teenagers to open up their profiles to strangers.

The social networking site announced that users aged from 13 to 17 would now be able to switch their settings to share posts with anyone on the internet, rather than just their “friends” or “friends of friends”.

Children’s groups and internet safety experts denounced the move, saying it could leave young people more vulnerable to cyberbullying.

Anthony Smythe, the managing director of BeatBullying, told the Times: “We have concerns that this age group can now share information in the public domain. Something they think might not be harmful now may come back to haunt them later. This is a move in the wrong direction.”

The newspaper said Jim Gamble, the former head of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop), had also expressed concern that the move could make youngsters more vulnerable.

Facebook, which has more than 30 millions users in Britain, argued that it was offering more choice to tech-savvy teenagers. It also stressed that initial privacy settings for under-18s would automatically be programmed so posts are seen only by friends.

“We take the safety of teens very seriously, so they will see an extra reminder before they can share publicly,” the company headed by Mark Zuckerburg said in its announcement.

Facebook said last week that it was removing privacy settings so  anyone could search for a user’s profile.

A spokesman for the National Crime Agency (NCA), which has recently assumed responsibility for cybercrime, said: “It’s important that children and young people manage their online use and understand the consequences of what they share online, especially with anything that is available publicly.

“Robust reporting mechanisms and education messages are vital and we continue to encourage users to report any concerns they have to Facebook, or if their concerns are linked to someone’s inappropriate sexual behaviour, to the NCA.

“The NCA welcomes the announcement made by Facebook in relation to the default sharing setting for teens joining Facebook being changed to ‘friends’, instead of ‘friends of friends’.

“This will help young people understand the need to manage their privacy settings carefully and to control who they share their information with.”

The spokesman said Ceop, which is part of the new crime agency, had a strong working relationship with Facebook and worked with it “to ensure children and young people are as safe as they can be when using the platform”.

Facebook Removes Search Privacy: Is It Time To Delete Your Profile?

International Business Times

on October 11 2013 3:03 PM

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) announced Thursday that it was finishing a process it started in December to make all Facebook profiles searchable by all users. Users whose Facebook Timelines have been immune to the search function will soon get notifications explaining that their immunity will be removed by the Menlo Park, Calif.-based social network.

Facebook NotificationFacebook users that have the option turned on to keep their profile hidden from search will get this notification. Facebook

Facebook insisted the “Who can look up your Timeline by name?” setting isn’t useful anymore and that privacy controls on posts constitute a more effective way of protecting users’ privacy.

“The setting was created when Facebook was a simple directory of profiles and it was very limited,” Facebook said on its blog, explaining that the feature had never prevented people from finding profiles via its News Feed or likes on other posts.

When the International Business Times asked readers about the Facebook change, opinions were pretty evenly divided. Many didn’t seem to mind the social-media site’s actions at all.

“If you are putting yourself on facebook, you should be able to be searched. if you don’t want people to find you, get off facebook [sic],” Devon Michael O’Connor commented.

Facebook also said only a “small percentage of people” actually used the soon-to-be-retired setting. It didn’t specify the exact percentage, but the Associated Press indicated the percentage is in the single digits.

If just 1 percent of Facebook’s total user base took advantage of it, however, that’s still about 11.5 million people. That’s a hefty number of Facebook users who actually care about their privacy, and it’s likely the real number is much higher than that. Given that most people never change their Facebook default settings — possibly more than 95 percent, according to an extrapolation of figures reported by User Interface Engineering — the social network could potentially offend millions of active, engaged users with the policy change.

Being concerned about digital privacy isn’t just for the tinfoil-hat crowd. Some Facebook users don’t want certain people (read: stalkers) to follow their online life. Facebook now only hides a profile from blocked users, but people can easily create profiles with fake names and find the objects of their obsessions.

This is just the latest reason that some people are leaving Facebook. In May, Facebook was one of several technology companies outed as a participant in secret U.S. National Security Agency domestic electronic-surveillance programs such as PRISM. Edward Snowden, the former NSA-contractor-turned-whistle-blower, reported that companies such as Facebook even worked with the NSA to provide backdoor access to user data. Facebook was one of the last companies implicated by Snowden to publish a transparency report about requests for information it receives from the government.

“Why not just call this what it is…NSABook [sic]?” wrote IBTimes reader Dan Brown. “Just grateful I have a common name resulting in a frustrating search for any loser with enough time to stalk me.”

In August, Facebook made sweeping changes to a couple of its governing legal documents. Among these changes, the company rewrote its policies about personalized advertisements, encompassing data-usage rules dealing with the sharing of user data with others and what data third parties can retain. Along the way, the company gave itself permission to know whether you are accessing its services via Android or iOS product.

What do you think about Facebook removing the option to hide your profile from its Graph Search? Are you ready to delete your Facebook profile just yet? Let us know in the comments section.

Obamacare Fines to be Seized From Bank Accounts?

Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com

October 2, 2013

A man who attempted to sign up for Obamacare online was told that a fine of over $4,000 dollars a year for refusing to take out mandatory health insurance could be taken directly from his bank account, and that his drivers license would be suspended and a federal tax lien placed against his home, according to an entry on the HealthCare.gov Facebook page.

Image: Obama signs the Affordable Care Act.

If true, the implementation of Obamacare is going to be a whole lot more draconian than Americans have been led to believe.

Will Sheehan claims that when he tried to sign up for Obamacare and then register to opt out, he received an ominous warning. Sheehan’s full Facebook post reads;

“I actually made it through this morning at 8:00 A.M. I have a preexisting condition (Type 1 Diabetes) and my income base was 45K-55K annually I chose tier 2 “Silver Plan” and my monthly premiums came out to $597.00 with $13,988 yearly deductible!!! There is NO POSSIBLE way that I can afford this so I “opt-out” and chose to continue along with no insurance.

I received an email tonight at 5:00 P.M. informing me that my fine would be $4,037 and could be attached to my yearly income tax return. Then you make it to the “REPERCUSSIONS PORTION” for “non-payment” of yearly fine. First, your drivers license will be suspended until paid, and if you go 24 consecutive months with “Non-Payment” and you happen to be a home owner, you will have a federal tax lien placed on your home. You can agree to give your bank information so that they can easy “Automatically withdraw” your “penalties” weekly, bi-weekly or monthly! This by no means is “Free” or even “Affordable.”

Sheehan went on to point out that the site makes you input all your personal information before giving you an indication of the costs, meaning a database of the “uninsured” is being built. He added that he could not afford to pay the premium so would have to break the law and pay the fine, leaving him with no health care coverage.

The federal government has consistently denied that any fines pertaining to Obamacare non-compliance could be seized from bank accounts, despite reports last year that the IRS had hired 16,500 new agents to harass citizens who attempt to evade the new law.

“There’s no criminal sanctions for not paying this, and there’s no ability to levy a bank account or do seizures,” then-IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman said in April 2010.

In addition, Americans who refuse to pay for mandatory health insurance “shall not be subject to any criminal prosecution,” according to the law itself.

Section 1501(g)(2) of the Affordable Care Act also states that the IRS cannot “file notice of lien with respect to any property of a taxpayer by reason of any failure to pay the penalty imposed by this section.”

Either Sheehan’s claim that he received this notice is a lie, or the feds have been dishonest with the American people all along, and the revolt against Obamacare is about to take “don’t tread on me” to a whole new level.

Facebook lost 9 million users in US due to privacy concerns

Written by Press Tv

Wed Sep 18, 2013 10:0AM GMT

Facebook users are quitting the US online social networking service in large numbers due to privacy concerns and fear of internet addiction, new research shows.

Researchers from the University of Vienna analyzed 600 participants’ responses to assessment measures based on their level of concern over various issues.
Reasons for quitting Facebook were mainly privacy concerns (48.3 percent), followed by a general dissatisfaction (13.5 percent), negative aspects of online friends (12.6 percent) and the feeling of getting addicted (6.0 percent).
Earlier this year research showed Facebook had lost 9 million monthly users in the United States and 2 million in Britain. Studies show the majority of users that quit the social website were older males.
Facebook, among other tech giants, have been repeatedly under scrutiny for their lack of user privacy, including turning over thousands of user’s info to the US government.
In August, Facebook revealed that the US government had asked the social network to disclose information on at least 20,000 of its users.
Facebook said it received “both criminal and national security requests” made by local law enforcement officials and national security agencies.
“Given high profile stories such as WikiLeaks and the recent [National Security Agency] NSA surveillance reports, individual citizens are becoming increasingly more wary of cyber-related privacy concerns,” said Brenda Wiederhold, editor of the journal Cyberpsychology, Behavior and Social Networking which published the findings.
Following the revelations by American whistleblower Edward Snowden about mass spying programs by the NSA, various Internet and communications companies are under pressure to protect the privacy of their users.

Why Americans Are Submitting to the NWO

Dave Hodges

The Common Sense Show

September 12, 2013

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to … remain silent.

Thomas Jefferson

Many of us in the alternative media express constant disappointment that so many of our fellow citizens do not fight back against the forces of the NWO. This article will explore the recent journeys of two individuals, Blaine Cooper and myself, in an effort to accurately explain why so many of fellow citizens grovel like a flock of sheep in the face of governmental tyranny being carried out on behalf of the NWO.

I Like Contrarians

On my talk show and in my articles, I like to periodically give attention to individuals and groups who are making a difference in the fight against our out of control tyrannical government. Blaine Cooper is one of these people. The Tom Petty classic song, “I Won’t Back Down,” accurately applies to Blaine Cooper.

Blaine Cooper is awake and he is disgusted with the corrupt leadership of this country.  By all accounts, he is a good man and he will not be silenced in the face of abject tyranny running rampant over the citizens of this country. Cooper knows that our government has been hijacked by criminal elements and he is not shy about making his feelings known to the powers that be.

Unfortunately, Mr. Cooper has learned that freedom is not free and he has begun to pay a price for being outspoken about the criminals that are running this country into the ground, for their own personal benefit.

Facebook, the Direct Pipeline to the American Stasi

Blaine Cooper was accused by the federal government of promoting dangerous ideas because he speaks his mind. Recently Cooper published the following Facebook post:

untitled.png6u

It is obvious that Mr. Cooper is speaking about the potential day when Federal agents and local police are ordered to carry out unlawful orders against American citizens such as gun confiscations and NDAA type of illegal detentions.

In this specific Facebook post, Cooper wonders out loud if and when that day comes, will the police and the Federal agents stand with the people, or will the people have to fight against the forces of law enforcement in order to survive? This is a legitimate question.  For the record Mr. FBI agents, I wonder the same exact thing every time I watch your agents carry out another act of tyranny against innocent American citizens.

Every Move You Make, Every Breath You Take, the FBI Is Watching You

Although Cooper stated quite clearly that he hopes that an armed confrontation will NOT occur with law enforcement officials, the Federal government does not recognize Mr. Cooper’s First Amendment freedom of speech rights to voice objections to the corruption he is seeing on a daily basis. In his Facebook post, Cooper is not making a direct threat against any identifiable person or organization. But don’t confuse the FBI  with the facts as they moved, within mere hours of the post appearing on Facebook, to immediately silence Cooper. It is obvious that the FBI views an American citizen who opposes the unfolding of the emerging police state as a terrorist. The FBI cannot have Americans stating that will they defend their civil liberties against enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Subsequently, the FBI paid Mr. Cooper a visit. According to Police State USA, Cooper was contacted at home by the Prescott Valley (AZ) Police and was told that he must come to the police station to speak with the FBI unless he wanted the FBI to come ransack his house for failing to submit to the Federal agents.

When Cooper showed up for the “interview,” the FBI had a copy of every Facebook post that he had ever made including personal information about his wife and parents. You see, in the mafia, they just don’t take you out, they will go after your family as well. Unable to find any evidence of terrorist activity, the FBI had to let Cooper go.

A Caveat About Talking to Any Federal Agent

Under Title 18, United States Code, Section 1001, did you know that it is a crime to tell a lie to the federal government? Even if your lie is verbal and not offered under oath? Even if you have received no warnings of any kind, if the Feds say you lied, you did and you go to jail! Even if you are not trying to cheat the government out of money, it is a crime to lie! Even if the government is not actually fooled by your falsehood, you will go to jail! You can go to prison if you misspeak about anything that the Feds determine is not true. If you give the wrong year that you got your last parking ticket, you can go to prison. You can do five years if you misspeak and give inaccurate information about what you had for breakfast on the first Saturday of the previous month. This is how the government mafia works and NOBODY should ever speak with them without a lawyer present and without the entire event being filmed.

Martha Stewart did not go to prison for what she did wrong. She went to prison because Federal agents said that she lied when they interviewed her. I have repeatedly stated this fact in my articles and columns, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, talk to the Feds by yourself. It is your word against theirs and they lie.

Blaine Cooper was lucky. If you are ever in the same situation as Blaine Cooper and Martha Stewart, and the Feds are threatening to trash your house for failing to cooperate, take a lawyer with you. And until you can get an attorney to be present at all questioning, invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer ANY and ALL questions. If the Feds do not cooperate with your right to avoid self-incrimination, or your right to protect yourself from their lies, call the media and invite family and friends to videotape.

If Thomas Jefferson Was On Facebook He’d Be Declared An Enemy Combatant

Thomas Jefferson had as much to do with creating our Constitutional Republic as anyone, yet he despised and mistrusted government. He frequently stated that our countrymen had more to fear from the bankers and the government than the standing armies of a foreign government. Can you imagine what would have happened if Jefferson was ever on Facebook and he posted one of his most famous quotes?

Periodic revolution, “at least once every 20 years,” was “a medicine necessary for the sound health of government.”

Thomas Jefferson

It is quite clear that Feds would have subjected Jefferson to intense scrutiny and interrogation and certainly, Federal officials would be looking for the slightest deception, or misspeak, in order to put one of the greatest patriots in American history in prison.

Blaine Cooper Won’t Back

Down

The Federal government be damned, Cooper is not about to be deterred by Federal agents. To Cooper’s credit, he is not done confronting the criminal Federal government. Recently, Cooper confronted Senator John McCain at a public meeting for supporting the al-Qaeda backed Syrian rebels in their illegitimate fight against Assad. Cooper, as I have previously stated, also called the chemical weapons attack upon the citizens of Damascus, a false flag event. Cooper told McCain that he should be arrested and charged with treason for his actions. McCain appeared as if he wanted to crawl into a hole as his discomfort with Cooper’s confrontation was quite evident. Here is Cooper’s confrontation with Senator McCain.

The Federal Government Is Not Done Harassing Cooper

I can speak from personal experience that the Federal government is not done with Blaine Cooper. He can expect to have his taxes audited. He can expect to hear clicks on his phone during conversations. He can expect emails to disappear. And if he becomes a real pain in the backside, he will face increasing acts of intimidation and violence as I did.

One of the faces of tyranny

For an eight year period, I led a fight against the John McCain led globalists as they attempted to steal the homes and properties of 300 of my rural neighbors without being offered one dime of compensation in order to acquire free land in which to put a Canamex Corridor Highway through our area which also happens to sit on the state of Arizona’s largest underground water aquifer. During my much publicized fight against the McCain led forces, I experienced extreme (coincidental) harassment:

  • My emails between our opposition leadership continually disappeared
  • I received death threats which warned me to back off
  • Late one night while driving to my country home on a lonely road, a car attempted to run me off the road and then pursued me for 10 minutes. The entire event was recorded because I was on the phone with 911. I was able to get the license plate number and a description of the driver. The event only ended because I was able to elicit help from a group of people. The County Sheriff would not respond to my call. Two hours later, I received a cell phone call from a deputy asking what I had done to provoke the incident. The deputy said he was able to trace the identity of the driver but was refusing to do anything. The following business day, I attempted to obtain the 911 calls and was going to ask the county DA for help. However, the 911 tapes magically disappeared.
  • Near the end of July of 2009, while interviewing Jim Marrs on my talk show from a home studio in Phoenix, two individuals fired 8 shots over the house I was in. Further, several members of my family were also present.  My news director had to help me finish the show as we all scrambled for cover. There were at least a dozen calls that went to 911 from inside the house and we later learned that there were a dozen “shots fired calsl” from the neighbors. The house sits three minutes from police headquarters and they took 30 minutes to respond. The police, in their final report concluded that the event in question was actually fireworks being set off a few blocks away. Really? There were two eyewitnesses who saw the shooters.

Of course our well-publicized fight against the attempted theft of our properties and these acts of violence and intimidation are merely coincidences and figments of my imagination. The moral of the story is that the Federal government is not done with Blaine Cooper. And inside of these two stories, it is plain to see why more people do not get involved, even when they can clearly see how wrong things have become.

The Sheep Continue to Acquiesce

Blaine Cooper would probably tell you that he is no hero and does not consider himself to be extraordinarily brave. He is just pissed off as sees this country going down the toilet. I feel the same way. Before my battle with the globalists in an effort to save my home, I had a life that was working very well. As a result of my fight against tyrannical government, the quality of my life has indeed suffered. People that used to call me friend, now think I have lost my mind. Cooper is about to discover the same exact thing. If you pick up your cross and fight against this abject and unrelenting evil, you will face harassment and you could even lose your life as did Breitbart, Swartz and Hastings. However, what most pretend activists don’t realize, is that the wages of apathy will culminate in a destroyed life and eventually a premature death. Do you want to die on your or in a bent over kneeling position on the ground?

What you don’t know can and will hurt you. And what you don’t do can kill you.

Under the NWO, there is no such thing as going along to get along.

The US Narrative on Syria Is a Lie: Now Is The Time to Use Facebook as a Microphone for Truth

By Tim Hjersted

5 Sept 2013

The corporate media has once again become complicit in promoting the propaganda and disinformation put out by the US government. Like all good propaganda, success is defined partly by framing and limiting the debate to questions which, at the outset, prevent the most important truths from ever being revealed.

The current debate is being framed as “should the US intervene to help the Syrian people?” This presupposes that we are not already involved and that the current ‘civil war’ is purely a Syrian affair.
But the truth is, the US has been directly involved in escalating and assisting this bloody conflict for years via its regional proxies, which by all accounts the US would label “terrorists” rather than rebels if they were not assisting US interests.
The Western funding, arming and training of the resistance is part of a deliberate strategy to topple the Assad regime and weaken Iran, which is the next target of the United States’ imperial strategy for control of the region. However, this proxy war, by all accounts has failed thus far, which has led the US and its allies to become increasingly desperate to rescue their failed war. A military strike is always the last resort when covert operations fail, and so now we are seeing the flimsiest of evidence based on an arbitrary red line used as a pretext for ‘humanitarian intervention.’
This background context is amply documented here, here and here.
So the question “should the US intervene?” needs to be replaced by the knowledge that the US has already intervened in morally criminal ways, and this imperial strategy must be stopped at once.
On top of not bombing Syria in the coming weeks, we should also be fully demanding that the US and its regional allies stop funding the rebels while initiating legitimate peace actions.
“Here’s what should be done instead: Pressure Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states and Turkey to stop arming one side, while pressuring Russia and Iran to stop arming the other.  Insist on a cease-fire.  Support U.N. inspections of the evidence of crimes by both sides.  Provide humanitarian aid to Syria, Syrian refugees (now fleeing in greater numbers as the U.S. threatens to attack), and others suffering in the region.  Support nonviolent democracy movements.
And why stop there? End the occupation of Afghanistan, which we think of as “ending” but which is still twice as large as when President Obama was elected.  Stop arming brutal dictatorships and calling the weapons “aid.”  Close Guantanamo and other lawless prison sites.  Halt U.S. drone and other missile strikes worldwide.  Bring U.S. troops home from 175 nations.  Spend 10% of the U.S. military budget providing the world with clean drinking water, food, and assistance in sustainable agriculture and energy.
Our options are not to do nothing or to bomb Syria into the sort of disaster created in Iraq.  There is an alternative that benefits Syrians, makes us safer, and costs less in money, lives, and morality.”
Now is the time more than ever for every single one of us to turn our Facebook profiles and Twitter pages into a platform for spreading independent news links that can shift the debate on Syria and inform people of what is really going on.
Deceptive narratives must be replaced by honest ones.
You may only have a few hundred friends in your network, but if everyone reading this starts regularly sharing hard-hitting independent news several times a day, ever day, we can reach millions of people and reshape the debate and overcome the echo effect of the corporate media.
